To be fair, that Forza 6 picture you picked is very bland. The rain footage in the OP looks better.
But again, when I'm playing these games I don't really notice the lighting for very long. Driveclub has better lighting but Forza still looks really good. The 60 fps with a great presentation of Forza though, that's more significant.
If Forza targetted 30 fps that would leave a lot of room for more detail, better lighting, etc. Its amazing the X1 accomplishes with the specs it has.
