It's amazing how you think all of those examples actually demonstrate that my concept is ridiculous. Were you upset when Mario Maker 3DS was released and WIi U owners didn't get a free copy, even though the games are practically identical? Something tells me you weren't.

You don't need me to demonstrate how ridiculous your concept is. That's why there's not even a 0.1% chance Nintendo will do it.

WiiU owners don't deserve Mario Maker. That tablet was for pointless, assymetric gameplay not good games. WiiU owners made their bed.

If Nintendo had to spend time and resources on developing MM for a different system they deserve to reap the profits, don't they? Do you expect EA to give away a free XB1/PC/Switch copy of FIFA when they buy the PS4 version?

No... I don't expect EA to give away from copies of FIFA.... why do you think this is philisopically equivalent to platform concept I'm suggesting as a possibility?  I'm literally saying that since development between the two platforms is so difficult if developers want to they have the option - let me stress that again, in bold - the option of selling it as a package between the two platforms, similar how there are many "cross-buy" titles between the PS4, PS3 and Vita. They would also have the option of selling the game on seperate platforms seperately, similar to how Nintendo sold Mario Maker on the Wii U and 3DS seperately.

Why is this such a hard concept for you to grasp? Especially considering it's not even a remotely critical point of my possible 3DS successor from NIntendo?
