| HintHRO said: His logic is that a reason to hold back on 4K is because the audience is too limited. This may be true. Full-HD TVs on the other hand are not too limited, still the Switch barely does games in 1080p. Not even games with last gen graphics. So what makes you think Nintendo will fully support 4K resolution when 4K TVs actually are commonly found in households? |
I'm not going to restate what sc94597 said, but I will say that your argument still doesn't make sense. Your original statement made it seem that since Reggie said what he said, it also applies to 1080p games. Yet, now you are saying it in a different context. Still, this context doesn't matter either. If Nintendo decides to continue supporting 1080p over 4K in the future (which, honestly, wouldn't surprise me), their audience will be just as large as Sony or MS'. 4K TVs inherently support 1080p, as I'm sure you know. That, in the end, supports his argument. Either way, Reggie is, for once, right here. The question you are asking just doesn't apply.
