Yeah 3D was still a pretty big thing with movies like How to Train Your Dragon, Avatar, Transformers, and other blockbuster movies trying to take advantage of the craze. Though I think nowadays, the 3D element has declined.

It was definitely worth it in Doctor Strange.  Those effects were mind blowing in IMAX 3D
