As much as possible really. I try to brush my teeth with my left hand, if I don't have to write very quickly (by hand), I'll try to write with my left hand. I have an ongoing project to become ambidextrous 
Sometimes when I play the tuba I even use my left hand (which most look really interesting, but as long as I'm not playing something overtly difficult, it's not a problem.)
