You say this now, but the 3DS will be a distant memory by this time next year.

It is actually crazy someone thinks Nintendo will continue supporting a last gen hardware despite them dropping every other last gen hardware like a brick in the past 20 years.

Also "DS and GBA Were Both Handhelds", the Switch is a handheld as well. In a poll I saw the majority of people that upgrade to Switch are 3DS owners. It's not shocking me, most people who are furious about 3DS still being alive are 3DS owners who bought a Switch. They want more games on their new handheld.

I agree with you that 3DS won't be relevant this time next year, but you're wrong about them dropping existing systems. DS was supported well after 3DS released; it even had some exclusives like Pokémon and Solatorobo as well as tons of third party games. Btw, 3DS is getting an even better post support than DS... this year alone, the year of Switch's launch, it's getting exclusively Ever Oasis, Mario + Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid: Samus Returns, Hey! Pikmin, Fire Emblem Echoes, Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Miitopia and probably some stuff I forgot. It's amazing support! But yeah, next year, the 7th year after launch, it will be almost dead.

Btw, Switch is a hybrid, that's common sense and the general consensus as well. lol Also, 3DS sold 5x better than Wii U, of course more 3DS owners will pick it up.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
