They had better ship at least that many. Splatoon will push systems and there is some seriously pent-up demand already.

There are at least a million souls waiting to get a Switch who have no interest in Splatoon - and then add in those who were waiting for that game before buying...

I know, but it doesn't seem that Nintendo could ramp up the production more than that. I'll wait and see if they are able to increase the production to >1M, but I'm not even sure that they can reach that quantity...
