Tekken 7 was the first big game PS4 got in Japan after many weeks too and it didn't to well... all of that despite being probably the world's biggest fighting franchise.

Big difference - the PS4 has dozens upon dozens of big games released for it already. There's a huge backlog to buy from. 

Yeah, there is also another big difference: PS4 has a 5m install base there, Switch is still reaching 1m or so.

By your logic, every big Switch game should to do amazingly well and every big PS4 game that flops can be "excused". lol

 

(Btw, Switch have more than 90 games already, that's a lot for something this new).
