Maybe if Bernie had tried to gain allies in the DNC instead of calling them all names then hoping for support, he would have won.  Bernie is more to blame trying to come into a established party and trying to flip it to his own ends then trying to establish support first, win then flip it.

That's a very weak argument against the system opposition the DNC gave him in favor of Clinton.

Not weak at all.  What do you think if Bernie decided to go GOP.  Do you think they would have welcome him with open arms with his socialistic views.  At every speaking convention, Bernie burned his bridges by labeling the DNC as a problem but forget he needed the DNC support to win.  How do you think he would get those super delegate votes without the DNC members support.  Politics is politics and burning the people you need to win and expecting them to support you was dumb.  He was an outsider trying to flip an already established political party.  As an outsider he should have sought support within the DNC and shone how he compared to Hillary with his less baggage but he didn't.  Even still, he did not win either the popular vote or the super delegate so he had no chance anyway.
