You see guys, I live in a country where it's pretty hard to get money to buy things like consoles and games... I can affort it tho but just one console per generation. Recently I saved enough money to buy a console + 5-6 games ( 600$) But can't really decide if the Switch is worth my only shot... I know It's a new console and only has 3 months on the market and that I should only give it time before buying it if I'm not sure but, I get until July to make up my mind since my GF is traveling to the US and she can pick up whatever I buy and bring it to me in August.

I really don't like asking in forums for something that I should decide but I've been monitoring the way Nintendo is doing things right now and I'm confused. They didn't have any 3rd party game announced at E3 (Fuck I wanted that DB FighterZ so badly to be on Switch) but I really love Nintendo's first party games and the Switch is super interesting too...

Should I buy a Nintendo Switch in July or go safe with a Ps4? (Persona 5 is really talking dirty to me right now too)

I'm from Brazil (Brasil) and i have similar problem...

I would choose ps4, but why?

3 Reasons.

1.Balance of quantity / quality of games.

I intend to play about 15, at most 20, games throughout the generation. Considering my free time, that's all I'll be able to play and I believe I'll find 15 must-play games with no problem on playstation. Honestly, I would only choose Nintendo as the "only option" if my "time limit for games" were 10 games or less in the generation. If your goal is to play 13-15 games, or more, in the next 4-5 years, I would choose ps4. But if you think you'll only play 7-10 games in the same space of time, Nintendo is a great option, maybe even better than playstation.

Note:  I'm not a pc gamer, so... i need something to play multiplat games...

2. Playstation games, in the end, are less expensive.

Sony has incredible discounts on the virtual store, great games like bloodborne, uncharted, horizon, etc. Usually have great discounts, sometimes it is possible to get 2, perhaps even 3, great games for less money than one single game! This happens a lot in psn, but it does not happen frequently with nintendo, they do not usually give big discounts in the virtual store.

3. my friends are on playstation. I think this is self explanatory.
