Switch isnt using any of the part that Iphone 8 will be using, Full plastic construction, including the LCD protection is Plastic so gorrila glass is out of the equation, Normal 720p LCD, tegra x1, ir, radio's and sensors.. none of those things will be used in iphone, and all those parts are used in mid range smartphones, and those are mass produced in china on huge scale, so switch has to compete with billions of chinese phone. and the parts which Nintendo are using are not exclusive, nor very hard to produce, they just have to  place a contract on the parts like every other chinese mobile manufacturer does.. and even issue with assembly line at foxconn is thing of past.

So i dont think a company like nintendo with huge cash reserve would have any issue in ramping up the production even if they underestimated the demand of switch initially, they just need to find a different supplier to those parts and there are plentiful of them in china.

There's a worldwide shortage of NAND Flash Memory across suppliers.

Nope its Just toshiba, they are tanking and i believe selling their Nand department to western digital, the problem is Nintendo doesnt wanna source their nand from any other manufacturer or maybe they have a contract in place with toshiba for certain amount of nand for a fiscal year, and nintendo just underestimated the demand.. So if there is a contract in place, then its just stupid on nintendo's part.. But I believe thats not the case, coz nintendo wouldnt have increased their yearly projection of shipping 20m units.
