Sony announced 3.4m sold for the first 2 months, right? VGC had it at 2.8m at that point. Wasn't digital extremely high? A quote from Sony:

"Additionally, Sony confirmed that nearly 3.4 million copies sold, 915,000 were digital".

So combining VGC sold numbers with Sony's digital numbers it would put the game at 3.7m when Sony said 3.4m. Which means VGC is right, actually overtracking Horizon a bit and should have it at 2.5m instead (by April's end).
