ugh.... Meh. No. Just no. It's a bad idea. That would ruin the reselling of physical copies because it would be invalidating a certain amount of them when people link them to their account. Also, video game companies would likely just take that as a cue to go digital only. You can't have the best of both worlds without something of the good being left out.
If you want to play digital copies of games, deal with the pros and cons of that. People that are like me will deal with the pros and cons of physical copies.
I hate when people come up with dumb ass ideas that always turn into me having to sacrifice something (or lead up to that) for their idea to work. People need to learn how to be more pragmatic with their ideas.
