Yeah, I mean it's cool that it'll result in crazy sales, but I think there was a certain age that these games appealed to back in the day, and I was definitely over that age when the first Pokemon games dropped in 1998.  So I never really grew up with them, and don't have any attachment to the series.  But my wife is 2 years older than me and she does play Pokemon.

It also doesn't help that I never owned the original Gameboy.
