Yep, in terms of hardware I think the value of what you get is fine.
In terms of actual improved performance over the PS4pro in games? im not so sure.

And yep 499$ is a steep asking price.

"Microsoft is in a deeper hole. Unlike Sony, they didn't have a very successful handheld. Also, they already have a cheaper version. Sony's current Pro version is also $100 cheaper, and can most likely take a $50 price cut. The One X can't- it's gaining little to no profit per unit sold. This is a big issue. "

Yep 349$ vs 499$ and both do "4k" via checkerboarding.
Its a no brainer which most consumers will pick up in stores.

And thats without even mentioning the marketing rights playstation has, and the exclusive library. Things that could also effect which a consumer picks. I dont think Xbox One X will do much combat the sales of the PS4.

nope

Nioh and several others on PS4Pro are Native 4K. That doesn't change the fact that most PS4Pro games and the majority of what MS showed for OneX use checkerboarding. Checkerboarding is pretty much the standard for 4k console gaming right now it seems.
