I guess it'd be a bit of an annoyance for those without Microsoft accounts, but it doesn't bother me.

Perhaps it wont be an annoyance for them. It will just be a smooth transition if they ever decide to get an Xbox. I think people will be just as annoyed as those who create an origin, or Ubisoft account. It wasnt really annoying for me.
