Well considering all GTs have supported it and that Driveclub VR also supports my Thrustmaster I don't see why GTS wouldn't.

Good. In this case, and for all driving games with optional VR, not just GT, my doubt is that VR immersion will be somehow ruined by lack of correct feedback of your hands position on wheel and gear lever, unless an advanced VR set with full body or at least also hands and not just head tracking is used.

You don't look at your hands while driving in real life, it's the same in VR. You concentrate on what's happening out the windows and only occasionally glance down at the dashboard. The steering wheel is in your peripheral vision, you're not paying attention to it. It's not in your face as it is while driving in car on a screen. So, it's not a big issue. It would be cool if it matches 1:1, but that means adjusting your steering wheel and gear lever setup for each car.

I enjoy my racing comfortably reclined, feet up, with a controller. VR gives me enough extra immersion not to bother with a steering wheel.
