On its own merits, it's a solid RPG with an amusing story, and good combat system that I can't really complain about.
After playing Persona 4 and 5 though, you couldn't pay me to replay it. 
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
