Sony they are in so much debt while MS and Nintendo can screw up a gen without major problems. If the PS5 however dies screw up Sony is in real trouble unlike MS or Nintendo. A lesser gen or even a failed gen for MS or Nintendo as a company is a bump in the road. For Sony it's like driving off a cliff. So Sony's position is the trickier since fuckint up the PS5 like they did with PS3, might be the end of Sony as we know it.
Nintendo can do it's own thing and be fine and MS can become a software company for W10 devices and be fine I don't think those are in trouble. Xbox might stop existing after the Xone is discontinued. The big question however remains whether there is a market for homeconsoles after the PS4 and how long that market remains big enough for the existence of a Playstation homeconsole.
