Microsoft had the conference of their life and it still wasnt enough to fool conscious gamers of their weaknesses. Nintendo clearly had one of the best games in show from first party alone and we will see how well the switch continues to sell. Microsoft showed a clear dependence on third party, which of course the mass market doesnt worry about, since, they play mostly third party games anyway. This is why Microsoft can never completely be in danger. Nintendo did better though. Next year, if Nintendo shows off the new Pokemon RPG for the Switch, Microsoft will have no shot though. Nintendo has to GOTY contenders by themselves. Microsoft if the only company which had no game of the year contender by themselves.
