Will it be monster enough to bring Halo 5 up from it's sub 1080p res all the way to a locked native 4k/60 though? do you really believe the system is that much more powerful than the base model X1?

https://www.polygon.com/2015/10/27/9620600/halo-5s-constant-60fps-comes-at-a-price

"The lowest recorded value we find is 1152x810 but we see arbitrary values such as 1168x810, 1440x840, 1344x972, and 1536x1080 as well."

That is a record low of just 933,120 pixels considering that 1080p is 2,073,600 and 4k would be asking the machine to push 8,294,400 or 8.8x the lowest that the X1 offered in the same game. There is a difference between thinking a console will be impressive... and thinking a console is almost 9 times of an upgrade.

I do know but if anybody can do it its 343.  Phil did state that 343 are working on patching their Halo games.

But to expect a boost in performance of almost 9 times... that is almost a bigger jump from the X360 to the X1 itself I think it could actually be a larger jump.
