I don't think there's any doubt that what you get in the box warrants the price. But that doesn't universally make it a "good price".
It depends on what Microsoft's sales expectations are. $500 has historically never been well recieved by console gamers. It'll be very interesting to see how it sells in regards to that. If we even find out, considering MS no longer share their sales numbers.

I suspect MS anticipate something similar to Pro's 5:1 sales ratio.

 

Sorry but I judge a good price accourding to what I am getting for my money. 

I am the one spending the coin to buy the product. 

 

It has absolutely zero to do with what Microsoft's sales expectations are.
