If it's done through XBL then Switch owners can't use it - pointless. If it's done through an app, everyone can use it. Switch owners don't have a choice anyway, no indication the console itself supports a mic. Of course people could use discord or steam or whatsapp or just phone their friends. Switch owners could do that now but it wouldn't be linked to the console with all the lobby/invite/playdate stuff would it?
