Are you aware of the market sizes you are looking at? All the currently available supply in the four mentioned countries probably doesn't even combine for 10k units, so it wouldn't be more than a drop in the bucket for the American market.

Nevermind that Switch is supposed to have available stock. It's happening sooner in certain countries, but that doesn't mean that Nintendo will continue to send shipments and have them pile up in stores and warehouses in those countries.

It's regularly in stock in Italy, the 5th largest European nation, and slightly less often in the UK, the 4th largest, so all of these markets aren't small.

While there certainly won't be enough to meet demand, it makes you wonder why they bothered spending additional on air freight, if units are regularly sitting on shelves now. That being said, they're still selling out, and some of this is definitely hindsight (The Italy availability has been going on for over a month, though).

Ninendo doesn't really have any "problems" right now, at least not any bad ones. Just look at the last poll: the percentages are nearly the same.
