History says otherwise. I still remember when Code: Veronica was a Dreamcast exclusive.

RE7 is already on PS4, Xbox and PC, it'll be ported to all next-gen systems, and if it isn't on Switch it's because like many others, Capcom marked the Switch as "not AAA worthy" as soon as the console was announced. The problem with Street Fighter is that after SFV flopped Capcom doesn't know what to do with the franchise.

The fact that you had to go back as far as the Dreamcast shows how rare it is. And then you go on to say that Capcom doesn't consider the Switch as AAA machine.

Then how in the world can you say that a Switch port isn't a bold prediction?

I named Code Veronica because it is a extreme case. From Dreamcast exclusive to PS2, Gamecube, PS3, 360, PS4.

Do you want newer ones? Super Street Fighter IV was ported to 3DS. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was ported to Vita, like Street Fighter vs. Tekken. Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles was ported from Wii to PS3, like Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. Some Ace Attorney games ended being ported to PC and iOS. If there's a thing Capcom is known for is porting.

A Switch port isn't a bold prediction because unlike Resident Evil, Monster Hunter isn't AAA, and it's also a franchise where portability is a major selling point, something that only Switch offers.
