It depends how well MHW sells. If it sells okay (between 2 and 3 million) then I can see a MHPW (Monster Hunter Portable World) with a bigger emphasis on local co-op and some of the rougher gameplay mechanics removed, and the cherished gameplay mechanics that might've been taken out returned.
If the game sells less than 2 million or just barely more than 2 million, then I can see them just making a new classic monster hunter game with some of the popular changes in MHW inherited and much better visuals exclusive to the Switch or as a Switch/PS4/Xbox/PC multiplat. This could be called MHP5 or just simply MHP.
