I don't think a price cut is coming. This is Sony's premium model and they are enjoying the extra profit per unit they earn from it. Dropping the price would ruin that revenue stream.
Besides there's no pressure on Sony to drop either. Maybe like a Black Friday week type cut but that's about it.
