Don't mind it at all and its perfectly understandable. Especially now since MS owns the Minecraft license.
It's like buying any of the FarCry/Ubisoft games on Steam where it will download the Ubisoft program in order for you to play the game (due to DRM). Hate it because it gave me a random nickname and for a while couldn't change it...
