Well, he has to sell it some way. The question is will the X1X show a clear difference between the 2 products. The problem for Phil is that the impressive 3rd party games that will play on both may not show a difference since the PS4 is developing platform. Since Sony has the more impressive graphical looking games coming in the next year or 2 MS cannot show the separation between the X1X and the Pro that way either. Maybe remixes of Gears and Halo with 4K assets, 60FPS and improved Ultra level lighting, shadows and other graphical features could sell the narrative. Either way, only the hardcore will go to Digital Foundry or other such sites to see the minute differences for MS case to be relevant.
