Metroid Prime 4 won't be developed by Retro Studios and i'm okay with that.

I actually want that so it'll be a legit trilogy. tropical freeze was a top 3 wii-u game for me.

Yeah that's what I thought. They're the DK crew at this point, we don't need any bananas in space.

I don't think we'll get another 2D DK for a long while - but rather this time a 3D DK with highly interactive environments and multiplayer.

I'm thinking BotW meets Crackdown meets Mario 3D world.

It makes sense to me - they are obviously trusted with the DK brand. Not something I'd let go of if I ran Retro. They're putting enough time and staff in to really make a fantastic game regardless of what it is.

I figure Nintendo would hold off on announcing the project so they could focus E3 on Mario Odyssey and also ensure Metroid fans were happy - they could get upset if they found out Retro wasn't making Metroid.
