The stats and stuff I think has colors and symbols. Though this is something you should probably ask a vet of the series as I could be misinformed on this. If it does happen to be the case that you can deal without the text and fully enjoy the game, and it doesn't come to the west. This is pretty much you only option to play the game on the Switch unfortunately.

Well I'm fortunate in that I purchased MH before and hated it (3 on the Wii U and the demo for 4 on 3ds), so it isn't a problem for me lol.
