Time aligned is just date to date.

PS4 is still tracking ahead of the PS2.

it makes absolutely no sense to compare them the way most people do on this site.

the fact that PS2 was only available in Japan for the first 8 months needs to be taken into account for an accurate comparison.

how can someone say PS4 is doing better if each region is doing worse?
