To be fair; I've had fairly realistic predictions and expectations of it so far and from the beginning. Most pro-Sony users have been way too confident every year. I've been shooting down "20 million sales this year for sure!" and "The new PS2!" threads for years and I've still been right, with good margins at that. Even if I've been wrong about yoy decline for 2017 (should that come to pass, year still isn't over), I've been a lot closer overall than most of you throughout the gen as it unfolded and I believe I stand among the best of them when it comes to general observations and predictions for the overall market in the 8th gen, and from a very early point at that. In short; I may have underestimated the PS4 for 2017, but so many have grossly overestimated it time and time again. |
I could be wrong but I feel like during the years 2013-2015 you didn't give ps4 much chance of hitting 100m. Very few Sony fans actually said it would beat ps2 but lots said 100m+. I'm personally in the ~120m camp. And that's nowhere near the beastly ps2.
