All of them? Because Neogaf is a bastion of Nintendo fans, right? Please. Most people commented nothing about the console, and likely first started playing the series on PSP, like me.

"Don't get mad just because I proved you wrong with a single picture. Just say "Oh, haha, yeah." That's all it takes."

You're the one who didn't address my point. Instead you deflected by pretending you think you knew my point, rather than admit that it went over your head.

"And what are you going to do if it's actually a wild success? They kind of put a lot of emphasis on it, and there is a rather large fanbase of fans who have been waiting for MH to return to PlayStation"

Do you think this game will go over well in Japan (where the bulk of Monster Hunter's sales come from?) If it succeeds and is a genuinely good game, all the better. I don't think it is likely from what we've seen and know so far, as well as knowing what previous console Monster Hunter titles have sold. We can make a bet if you want.

"Monster Hunter Tri had quite a number of problems. It's almost like you didn't even play it."

Mhmn, name them, and give me specifics. Like I said, it was mostly the content (fewer weapons and monsters) besides the portability, which made the Wii version less appealing than others for many people.

Hope that is enough evidence that I played the game.

""The series is stagnating. Don't change it.""

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/false_dichotomy

Neogaf is full of halfwits and fucktards. It's like referring to the opinions of the homeless on the Large Hadron Collider. Utterly useless.

No, you're the one that got upset and pretended to imply a different meaning than what was clearly stated.

Holy. Fucking. Hell. Until you address the fact that Capcom is CLEARLY TRYING TO SELL THIS WORLDWIDE, as if the worldwide simultaneous release and Xbox availability wasn't enough of a hint, I'm not discussing sales with you. Get a clue: Capcom wants this to be a Western titles, too.

Swimming combat. Swimming movement. Spotty Wii online services. Shitty controls (unless you buy the real controller for the game, in which case it's extra expensive). Ditched a number of weapons. Introduced a monster type whose entire appeal is underwater combat (meaning future installments that include it will include only half the creature, since swimming was hated). Several uninspired rip-offs of older, more interesting monsters. Should I go on?

Congratulations, you played through a game, completely missed the appeal, and managed to not get a read on the atmosphere at all. That's actually impressive.

You complain that it's stagnating, then complain about change you don't like. How about instead of complaining and whining, you give a suggestion? Oh wait, you can't accurately do that since you don't have enough solid information on the gameplay to make any kind of statement to begin with . Don't come in here with your false dichotomy bullshit when all you want to do is whine and complain.
