This is exactly what Microsoft needs to do. This is their strong suit against Sony and Nintendo. I think they ruined their conference shoehorning in underwhrlming games due to the way they got backlash at the XBO reveal. However, they could have really stole E3 if they would have focused more on Xbox Play Anywhere, Modding and Development on Xbox, and Windows OS.
Xbox can not compete with Sony and Nintendo on games, they need to look to what makes their Platform more valuable in other ways. The OP is on point, this is the one way they can increase the market share of thier internal hardware development.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter.
