Why buy a PS4 Pro / Xbox One X if you already have a console?

Why buy a console instead of a pc to begin with. If you choose the right motherboard and a GPU with HDMI 2.0 support and HDR support it can outperform every console while remaining just as comfortable. 

 

You buy consoles for exclusive games and console upgrades to play those games and third party games in a higher resolution.
