I buy VC games still when one comes that I want. I generally check the updates every Monday (usually on Kotaku since the Wii Shop Channel is slow) and if there's something I want, I download it. The last thing I probably downloaded was Zelda II and it was well worth the money.

As for the pricing, I consider it more than fair. True, there are some games on the VC that I would never pay the asking price for, but I also wouldn't pay $1 for those games anyways so I really don't care how expensive they are.
