Unfortunately, you're going to have to get used to this, at least for the rest of E3's third party announcements. The only dependable publisher is Square Enix at this point for any Switch games. Ubisoft will eventually come, (well they said if Pokemon was on the system they would hope on board), Activision ports their crap on anything

No, don't expect Bethesda, Rockstar, EA, CD Projekt Red, or ID software etc.

Not sure about Capcom.

Anyway, fingers crossed tightly that it will ameliorate next year. But right now you're buying a Switch in the satisfaction of Nintendo games/indies/Japanese third party support

Even the Wii sold impressively higher than the PS3/Xbox 360 yet it still did not receive the majority of AAA third party games. It appears to be an unrepairable burden at this point that Nintendo will never receive at least half of the major multiplats. Ah well, at least I have a PC. I hope I can stream games to my Switch though, really want to play on that portable screen :|

Bethesda is coming already. And Capcom too.

Western mainstream third party games will not come, but that's why people buy their Xbox and PS for, anyway. Imagine a world where every game except for Sony's and MS's first party games came to a Nintendo console. Who would need the rest anymore?

Those games aren't even expected on the Switch in the first place.

With Skyrim? That doesn't count. I'm stating if any of the games they show at E3 has a chance of getting a Switch release- which is highly unlikely. Bethesda aren't really "coming".

Capcom? Yeah with MH and Street Fighter, I already know. I'm specifically talking about Resident Evil coming though, since that's their biggest franchise.

What do you mean who would need the rest? The PS4 has better exclusives than the Switch does, or the Wii U ever did. There's no reason for an Xbox One, but even if all the third party games came to the Switch, there would still be a reason to buy a PS4. I doubt you read my comment properly either, since I hoped "HALF" of those multiplats coming at least, since the Switch is perfectly capable of handling them. I never said ALL. That's impossible, the Switch can't run everything, even with extreme optimization; but it can still handle a lot.

You're misinterpreting the market, as well. Nintendo are a company, striving to be the most profitable. They don't "care" if they provide a gaming experience that obsoletes other consoles. Who cares if there were no reason to own a PS4/Xbox One if Nintendo got all multiplats...anyway? It's not impeding anything other than competition- but from a business perspective, they'd gladly take that monopoly.
