In terms of console/timed exclusives last year they showed

Gears 4

Forza horizon 3

Recore

Dead Rising 4

Scalebound  (RiP)

Cupheads

Sea of Thieves

State of Decay 2

Halo Wars 2

Hopefully they can top that E3 showing.

If I'm not mistaken, it's 2 flops (Recore and DR4), a canceled game, 3 games not out yet, and the usual trio Halo/Gears/Forza (with a minor Halo game)...

It shouldn't be difficult to top that this year, but I don't even know what they could have outside of the same things...

Its quite clear you don't expect a lot from microsoft but your prediction is way of when you compare it to their last years of E3 they never spend that much time on the same games and they never spent that much time on their hardware. They have been teasing new stuff to be announced and I would really advice you to not force your opinion on others and let everyone be excited about E3.

I am sure you are also excited about E3 apart from the Microsoft converance and some people have the opposite.

On topic Phil Spencer has confirmed on twitter the extra time was needed to show of several extra games and I have a feeling Microsoft will have a very strong showing, not as strong as sony or nintendo in terms of games but I do expect them to show new games coming next year and since its been CONFIRMED halo 6 and gears 5 won't be shown I expect it to be a very different type of games then we are used to seeing from Microsoft.

They also said multiple times they want the games to show off the hardware so I wouldn't be suprised if there is one or two really good looking games next to the new Forza and upcomming Crackdown.

Good stuff.
