was a half decent game let down by just how much it tries to be metroid - metroid 2d games were great and are still great now, i was just dissapointed by how little they strayed from what at times felt like little more than a reskined hack.
By all means go for the metroid look and feel but some unique and fresh ideas were sorely needed.
