It looks like Nintendo is trying to have one significant 1st, 2nd or 3rd party Nintendo exclusive release per month and they have six empty months unaccounted for in 2018 before the next E3. I'm guessing the amount of new games they unveil at E3 is going to be determined by whether or not they hold steady to their claim of focusing on 2017 releases. If they're fibbing, then I expect around five new announcements; if they keep to their word (for the most part), I expect maybe one or two new announcements while saving the rest for a major direct later down the line.
