You misunderstood my post, I think.  My point about not telling the truth was in regards to Comey telling Trump the truth when asked whwther he was under investigation.  If I were investigating the president and he asked me if I was investigating him I would absolutely say I was not.  

I thought it was in reference to his testimony today. I mean, lying to President would pretty much justify firing, which is really the only reason the hearing was going on right now.
