No, i think the countries all were making their part. When the US refuses to do theirs, wich they themselves set what difference can all the small countries make? It was a very difficult and heroic agreement to make. The US leaving it is presently a death sentence to the world.

I think that the new people beeing born in the future will look back at us and particularly this moment as a moment of infamy that doomed us all, unless of course, the course gets corrected before then.

I just don't see that as a fact. The US will continue to invest more in clean energy, and continue to reduce emissions. If abiding by the agreement puts the US at an economic disadvantage (which it does), then someone like Trump is going to be against it.
