MS has cleared the path for their E3

That all sounds good, if it all really works out like that. But, a $399 price tag is far from guaranteed, and it seems unlikely that people will have nothing but positive things to say about Xbox, just because they already put out all of the bad news. The fact that there is little going on (if that is truly the case) is not going to go over well just because we already know about it.
