And why would Nintendo only announce third party games that are releasing late 2018 into 2019? Because they have nothing else in development for the period in between. Announcing games that have just started development (or is not even in development) is a terrible strategy that doesn't make any sense. It means the third party situation may be even worse than the Wii U. 

The 3rd party situation for PS4 must be bad considering Kingdom Hearts 3, Shenmue 3 & Final Fantasy 7 Remake were announced years in advance..........
