Sure, why not? 2018 could have Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Kirby, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Party, 2D Mario/Mario Maker, whatever Retro Studio's is developing, etc.

These games along with a price cut and/or revision could give Switch another strong year in 2018 without Pokemon.

 

These are collorative...( By revision, you mean a more portable switch  for 199$, eh? )  

Although, it would be interesting to see how Animal crossing would perfom in the time period that switch would  still be at 299$.
