To be honest and fair it's the Russians and Brits we have to thank the most! The Americans only joined the party when most of the fighting was over already and afterwards and until today try to steal the cake.
The most hypocrite thing though is both Americans AND Russians supported the Nazis for years until they finally realised what happened.
Also strange to see both countries these days are getting closer to being authoritarian states themselves day by day.
Inconvenient truths, I know.
