Gamefreak does this every gen? Go ahead. Remind me when they ported Pokemon Stadium series to the  Gameboy Color? Or when they ported Pokemon Colosseum to the DS? How about when they ported Pokemon Battle to the 3DS?

What's that? Never happened? In fact it appears that the mainline Pokemon games have appeared exclusively on Nintendo's mainline portable consoles, and the Pokemon Spin-offs like Stadium, Snap, Pokken Tournament etc. only appear on home consoles. This trend continues with the latest announcement.

It's as if Gamefreak, like Nintendo, is treating the Switch like a home console first and foremost. Imagine that.

Man, this is gonna be so embarrasing for you when they announce Pokemon Stars or something similar next year. But I can't wait.

Why would that be embarassing for me?  I've never said Nintendo won't do that in fact I've said Nintendo should, many times. I'm just reminding myself of Nintendo's tendancy to do what Nintendo does, and you keep ignoring it.

Just so we're clear: If Nitnendo does announce Pokemon Stars, and a more portable Switch, great! it's nice that they've finally abandoned some of their old ways of thinking, and are trying to fully support the Switch, rather than trying to gouge consumers on two platforms for no good reason outside of greed. If Nitnendo does announce a 3DS sucessor, then it's business as usual from Nintendo, and I'll keep reminding myself that Nintendo doesn't do what makes sense.

You're the only one that has to eat a shit sandwich here if you're wrong, because you're convinced it's impossible. You're ruling out possibilites, and I'm not.
