My favourite RE is RE3. There you have it. There is more to a game than just controls. The old Tomb Raiders may have been a little clunky, but at least I could do whatever the hell I wanted. Nowadays I can only climb on certain spots that are all marked and stuff. There's barely anything left to explore in Tomb Raider games. 

Not just a little clunky since all the games after the first one had terrible controls I didn't bother to beat any of them the original had good enough controls that I beat it a couple of times.
