This game needs Voice Chat... No clue people wanted to just watch when they joined. Future reference though, Jigglypuff and holding her shield or Sonic running off to a d-air is probably the fastest way to clear the stage if you just want to watch.

Oh, and on the item subject. Turning the frequency to none isn't shutting them off! Dedede can still chuck items if the frequencies set to none. If they're actually off, he can't throw them. Annoying as hell when in the middle of a pretty standard match I chuck a random unexpected item and something game breaking like a Smash Ball pops out ; ;
